Location: Meeting Room 10, 2nd Floor, JLB
Time: 12:30pm - 13:45pm
Speaker(s): , Lorraine Hudson

In this talk, we will report on our experiences and lessons learned in producing and presenting the three Futurelearn MOOCs “Introduction to Cybersecurity” (https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/introduction-to-cyber-security), “Smart Cities” (https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/smart-cities), and “Learn to Code for Data Analysis” (https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/learn-to-code). The MOOCs illustrate a diversity of funding models and of student workload and activities. Mike Richards is the former Media Fellow of the MCT Faculty and co-author of the cybersecurity MOOC. Lorraine Hudson is an RA on the MK:Smart project and lead educator of the smart cities MOOC, which is a deliverable of the project. Michel Wermelinger is the lead educator of the coding MOOC.
