Learning Design applied to Software Engineering

Location: Meeting Room 10, 2nd Floor, JLB
Time: 12:30pm - 13:45pm
Speaker(s):

The Open University Learning Design Initiative (OULDI) developed a set of concepts together with computer-supported tools that allow the explicit representation of course design and provide mechanisms to foster sharing of material and collaboration amongst course team members http://ouldi.open.ac.uk. This seminar shows the application of OULDI to the design of an Experimental Software Engineering course. The design of the course considers the context of a professional master in software engineering to be carried out at a distance by a consortium of Brazilian institutions in the scope of the “Universidade Aberta do Brasil”. Feedback on benefits and drawbacks of the application are most welcome.
